How to use Shamanic Release& Latihan CD

Now you can do emotional release work followed by Latihan (moving in inner guidance meditation) in the privacy of your home. Laurie creates a very safe and sacred space in which you can do the powerful work she is known for in her Tantra courses. She sets you up with the proper position and breathing, and then guides you through each space and emotional state to the beat of tribal African rhythms. When you finish the clearing work, Laurie again guides you to move in the unknown to the very deep textures of Leonardo Ferraro´s Circle of Transformation. This is a meditation like no other! Try this CD as an easy way to do your personal clearing work on a regular basis and refresh yourself with these powerful Tantric techniques. You will be thrilled to be able to do this by yourself or with family members. The entire CD is just under an hour. You can do part or all of it depending upon your choice.

Track 2 - Shamanic Release 2

Shamanic Release:
Here’s how you do it:

A) Once the CD is on, lie down on the floor on your back with your knees bent so that your feet are flat on the floor. Put some pillows under your arms, down along your sides next to your hips. (You’re going to be banging your arms down once you get going, and this is a precaution to prevent you from bruising.) Start with the arms up on the floor over your head. Listen to the music. It doesn’t matter if you close your eyes or leave them open. You’re going start doing the Tantric breathe and squeeze.

Begin squeezing your pelvic and rectal muscles rhythmically. Just do this a few times until you get a nice and steady beat going, not too fast. Once you have the rhythm, coordinate your exhale with the squeezing. Every time you squeeze the butt and sex muscles exhale with the sound “choo” again. You may notice that, as you squeeze, your pelvis rocks or tips up slightly like a sex thrust. And over time, you’ll notice that your chin does it too, at the same time.

B) Now begin pumping the arms. As you squeeze/exhale making sound, slam your forearms down. As you breathe in, lift your forearms up over your head again. Squeeze/exhale; arms come down to your sides. Inhale; arms go up. Got it? You’re not just placing your arms nicely on the floor when they come down, you’re really pounding down. In the same vain, you’re not just breathing out your mouth. You’re making noise as you breathe out. You’re pumping your body, and you’re pumping hard.

C) Now change the sound from “choo” to something more powerful, like, “Ha, ha, ha, ha!” or “Huh, huh, huh!” You could even try the word “No!” or anything else that seems to be right there, maybe “Yes!” The point is to start with any sound at all; sooner or later anything that needs to come out of you and get expressed will surely come out.

D) Do this process for the entire track. Let your body respond to the calmer music any way it wants to. Come down gradually, and let yourself lie on the floor for a while afterwards resting.
Please note: It’s normal in our world to be afraid of letting your emotions come up. This is actually not normal for humans, but it’s probably what you were taught your whole life. For that reason, it’s important to be your own witness during the course of all this releasing. Take one of those very small steps back from yourself and observe your body doing the practice, lying on the floor and making sound. Also notice your fear or your anger, your reluctance, or whatever you’re feeling, from this witness distance. Just breathe and watch yourself in the process from the place of the witness. Notice yourself releasing pain and suffering. If you’re someone with a lot of anger who usually finds your anger overwhelming and fearsome, take heart. It may feel like there isn’t an end to it, but there is.

Latihan
Here’s how you do it:
One of the techniques you’ll use in Tantra in order to learn the self-generation of pleasure is called Latihan. Latihan is a meditation technique from the Subud (an Indonesian religious group). Latihan means "following inner guidance". In Latihan, you stand silently and “open” to existence. Energy flows through you, taking any form, such as laughing, dancing, singing, crying. Anything can happen. Some people refer to it as authentic movement. That’s what I think of as the physical goal in all this, throwing away those preconceived notions of sex and love-making and just hanging around in the unknown, authentically being in your body.

A) Once the CD is on, stand blindfolded in a room where there is room for you to move around

B) When you hear the Guided Imagery follow the directions pushing the red button when you hear the direction to do so.

C) When you are prompted, allow yourself to move in the unknown following inner guidance. Only move when the impulse to move moves you. There are no prescribed steps, no prescribed postures. Allow movement to move you until the end of the music.

The more you use this CD and do these practices, the more you will be clear and present and able to function in a state of the unknown.
